The Sword in the Stone is an American film released by Disney in 1963. This film which is also an animation was based on the 1938 book of the same name of the English author H White. This is the 18th film produced by Disney, and launched in the cinema on December 25, 1963.
Arthur is a smart young boy who dreams of becoming a knight someday. He works in a castle, also we have other main characters like Merlin that lives inside a forest. Merlin knows about the future knows that Arthur will be a king someday. Merlin mascot is an owl called Arquimedes, knowing of the Future that Arthur will reign England, Merlin decides to move to the castle to give school training to the young man Arthur. The film tells the story of who manage to take the magic sword stuck in a stone will be crowned King of England.
